Leda Wallace, 77, of Vandergrift, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, in Ross Memory Meadows assisted living, Gilpin Township. Born Oct. 31, 1940, in Rayne Township, Indiana County, she was the daughter of the late Jay and Evelyn Pitt Fulmer. She lived in the Vandergrift area most of her life. She had been co-owner of Wallace Moving and Storage and Wallace Furniture Manufacturing in Vandergrift. She was member of the Vandergrift Presbyterian Church and also a member of the George G. Mcmurtry No. 1 Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and had also been active with the women's group in the church. She enjoyed reading and gardening, and was a certified ceramics teacher. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, John Wallace, of Vandergrift; her sons, Daniel (Sandra) Wallace, of Leechburg, David Wallace, of Pittsburgh, and Eric (Tammy) Wallace, of Plum Borough; daughters, Kathy (Gary) Huselton, of Vandergrift, and Lisa (Marc) Corna, of Hyde Park; ten grandchildren, Greggory, Bradley, Christina, Brianna, Ashley, Emmalena, Alex, Madison, Lochlan and Maeve; a brother, Jay "Sam" (Kathleen) Fulmer Jr., of Brookville, Pa.; three sisters, Vernice (John) Wimble, of Indiana, Bonnie Kunkle, of Dixonville, and Carol (Neal) Stuchel, of Cherry Tree. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Fulmer; and a sister, Barbara Lockhart. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the DUNMIRE - KERR AND ROWE FUNERAL HOME INC., 244 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Vandergrift Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Neal Galley officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at church.
