Jack Nicholas DelCimmuto, 84, of Vandergrift, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, in his residence. Born Dec. 6, 1932, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Domenick and Louisa Ranallo DelCimmuto. A veteran of the Navy having served during the Korean War, he had been employed by U.S. Steel in Vandergrift as a crane operator prior to retiring in 1988 after 25 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting and cars. Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia (Mark) McManus, of West Vandergrift; his son, Domenick (Kimberly) DelCimmuto, of Vandergrift; five grandchildren, Daniel (Adrienne) McManus, Rachel McManus, and Kelsey, Justin and Jack DelCimmuto; and one great-grandson, Laytham McManus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn DelCimmuto, in 2012; two sisters, Anna Getty and Marge Benny; and a brother, Leonard DelCimmuto. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at DUNMIRE-KERR AND ROWE FUNERAL HOME INC., 244 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
