Mae Thula Jackson, 84 of Vandergrift, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in her residence. Born January 3, 1928 in Tridelphia, WV. She is the daughter of the late Hubert and Josephine Johnson Hutcherson Sr. Mae was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Apollo, member of the Order of Eastern Star, a mother of the Church and BPOE in Vandergrift. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include a daughter Patricia Jackson of Vandergrift. Two sons Rev. John (Denise) Jackson III of Vandergrift and Jeffery (Sheri) Jackson  of Washington Township. Five grandchildren John (Amanda) Jackson IIII, Brandy (Ken) Hann, Brittany Jackson, Jeffrey Jackson and Alonzo Neuswaun. Five great grandchildren Naudia and Danika Johnson, Christopher Hann, Alexus and Alaya Jackson. Three brothers Hubert (LaRue) Hutcherson Jr. Of Vandergrift., Louis (Nancy) Hutcherson of Eatonton, Ga and William (Ann) Smith of Vandergrift. A sister Carol (Robert) Mills of New Castle. A brother in law Richard (Dorothy) Jackson of Flushings, New York. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John H. Jackson Jr. In 1993 and a sister Wanena Nabors, an infant Brother Jimmy Hutcherson. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-4 &7-9 in the Dunmire-Kerr & Rowe Funeral Home, Inc. 244 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am in the New Life Baptist Church in Apollo with her Pastors Rev. Hubert Hutcherson and Rev. June Jeffries officiating.
